Test Rides

We keep a selection of Ducati, Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, and MV Agusta motorcycles available for test rides. Scheduled test rides are encouraged during the week as those are the time we are slowest. CTX Motoworks is one of the few motorcycle dealerships in San Antonio that provides demo ride by appointment. We believe that best expereince in your shopping journey will be to get a bit of saddle time so you know you're making the right decision.**
 

Our Test Ride Qualifications:

  • Current Motorcycle license/endorsement (no permits, no foreign licenses)
  • Current motorcycle insurance
  • All riders and passengers must be 25 years or older
  • DOT approved Full-Faced Motorcycle Helmet Preferred, min. - ¾ Shell Motorcycle Helmet
  • Proper riding jacket
  • Proper riding pants or long jeans
  • Proper riding boots or over the ankle boots
  • Motorcycle gloves
  • Passenger riders must be pre-approved and comply with all gear requirements

If you forget your helmet, jacket or gloves we have loaners, please call or email for verify we have your size.

Test Ride Thoughts

  • New to riding or switching type of motorcycle? We ask that you have some saddle time on a comparable motorcycle.
  • Time of day and weather* can play a big part in the riding and traffic conditions, this can be an important consideration on when is the right time.
  • Allow yourself 10-15 minutes to complete test ride waiver, us to verify requirements, go over the bike, route and the possibility of test riding several models. After the ride you may have questions, right after the ride is the best time to go over them.
  • We have several planned routes, we want you to have the best test ride so we're flexible on time and distance. We do distinguish between test ride and joy ride, we ask that you be respectful of this.**
